Motivation affects your entire life | Your entire life affects motivation |
The issue of developing motivation is of concern to many people. Motivation is the focus of a sufficiently large and patchy industry of motivational speakers and gurus. In most cases, the actual subject is just short-term motivation. Sometimes they refer to long-term changes, and they may repeat the mantra, "We are changing."
However, all this actually does is induce a certain emotional state upon people involved in such activities. Stories are used, and the speakers use good presentation, connect well with the audience, and sometimes use manipulation techniques in their lectures or training sessions. And even if all of this has any effect, in most cases, it is only a short-term splash of emotion.
But many people like it and want more of it, and there is a certain addiction to it, especially if it’s a group event. It can be big or small, with group emotions, and possibly with group pressure. Sometimes this addiction leads to some of these training programs being called cults. In any case, this is a big business.
Sometimes corporations invite legitimate motivational speakers to motivate staff, give pep talks, and to uplift team spirit, but, of course, not to develop a strategy.
Our main goal here is to create and implement your strategy. In our system, motivation is only one of many positive elements in your strategy; it is definitely not your entire strategy. Not at all.
Why does motivation often not work when promoted by lectures from these motivational speakers, or when you try to motivate yourself based on their books?
First, because it is often local. For example, you may have the motivation to earn more money, lose weight, buy something, go to college, or improve relationships - but all these things are local, specific issues, so your motivation doesn't take you very far. In contrast to these motivational speakers, we are saying that you should develop the entire system, including all the elements.
It is very dangerous to develop only your motivation without the use and development of the entire system, especially when applying the methods taught by motivational speakers.
Often, they "pump" you about how everything is bad now, and say that everything will be fine when you change. This technique creates a strong contrast. This seems to be done in order to help you change more quickly and with great results, to fill the process of changing with urgency and importance.
But the motivation is often local and the application of these methods is not always effective. Making changes may not work, but a strong negative residue remains. As a result, there are thousands of people with low self-esteem, who often hate themselves and are demotivated simply because they go through the process of creating such motivation. All this is just the opposite of what we're doing.
We deal with your personal strategy. As you see, in our entire system, motivation is only one of the elements. And emotions are one of the components of motivation. It is necessary to know exactly what to do, both in life in general and in specific issues. This allows you to make good decisions, be physically prepared to achieve the goals for which you need motivation, and, of course, it allows you to put your plans into action. All of this is done using powerful tools, which use both left and right brain.
Our system of motivation encompasses all life, all modules, all components, appears in every issue, and in every moment of time. If you're carefully studying all of the modules, you are probably noticing that all of the elements of the system influence each other to a greater or lesser degree. Although we highlight this or that relationship in specific modules, you already know that all modules are interrelated, either directly or indirectly. It’s impossible to pull out any of the items without serious damage or destruction of the entire system.
You may wonder what the connection is between fitness and financial independence, or between attractiveness and self-realization. But when you dive into the modules, you can see that all of them are strongly linked, either directly or indirectly.
These are not just thousands of variants of interdependencies, these are interdependencies that are individual to you. This includes influence of factors on each other and through each other, with stronger or weaker impacts, with influence coefficients and sensitivities as well as degree of importance for you at a given time.
Naturally, this is your individual way. If the overall goal of your strategy is to climb a mountain, then you have many options for ways to reach the top. You can pave your own unique way. Motivation encompasses the entire system, all the interdependencies, and all the possible ways to reach the summit.
When we talk about motivation, we're talking about your entire life, and not just the tiny bursts of motivation to help you get out of bed to go to work, to earn money for a car or allow you to avoid eating cake so you can fit your jeans. In each step, your motivation should be shown, but only in deep connection with the entire Balanced System.
As with the other modules, there are a number of elements that influence motivation to a greater or lesser degree. Your motivation can be generated because of some specific elements in addition to the entire system. It could be money, your relationships, your attractiveness, or your children. Self-realization is a very high point of motivation.
Motivation is strongly influenced by elements of your mood. For example, mental clarity allows you to think, connect the dots, and be motivated by the idea of achieving your goals across all areas. Confidence and optimism are often motivating by themselves. Energy, euphoria, and adrenaline are often the subject of motivation (motivational speakers often use this tool). Self-discipline and responsibility allow you to stay on track. Spirituality is also a motivator for many people by itself.
Motivation helps you to achieve results in all elements of the system, including fitness, food, health, attractiveness, relationships, career, finances, social life, family, and, of course, self-realization. But motivation is a double-edged sword. The influence of the system on all of the elements is the most powerful factor in the development of motivation at any given time in any particular matter.
Of course, you are more or less likely to worry about specific parts of the system at any given time, and this is understandable. By getting motivated by a specific issue, you get a powerful tool to improve your life in general. Motivation works in both directions: it allows you to improve a specific element, and it also provides you with an opportunity to improve your life on all fronts.
There is a set of powerful tools you can use to develop your motivation:
