Many people believe the presence of optimism and joy in life is the main criterion of life satisfaction and happiness. Optimism is one of the main factors of your mood, which strongly affects the other parts of your Balanced System.
Optimism is closely related another factor of your mood: confidence and peace of mind. Very often, optimism is a combination of positivity and confidence.
Together, they have a strong influence on other elements, such as fitness, and the effect works both ways. Successfully reaching your goals is closely connected with confidence and optimism. Positive people with a good sense of humor and a light attitude toward life are always more attractive to others. This, of course, is a great help in your relationships, intimacy, social life, family, and when dealing with children.
Optimism and positivity have a large positive impact on your communication in your career and education. A positive attitude helps people communicate effectively and achieve their goals. Also, a positive perception of success probability makes it easier to reach these goals.
A positive attitude by itself can change your attitude to the objective state of affairs. Optimism contributes positively to your perception of your contribution to attractiveness, career, finances and relationships, thus enhancing what you actually do in these fields.
What influences a positive attitude? As in other factors of your attitude, optimism strongly depends on the hormonal balance that is achieved through proper exercise, nutrition, sleep and rest, good health and intimacy. As we said, confidence and composure are very strongly associated with optimism.
Other important factors contributing to optimism and joy are energy and the elements of which we speak in the module about spirituality: solidarity, help, and forgiveness.
Naturally, your success in those areas where you set and reach goals (be it your career, attractiveness, financial independence, or self-realization) is a great source of joy.
But the measurable parameters and success of something are not the only things that bring you joy. Communication with children and close friends also increases your level of joy.
