Possessions affect your entire life Your entire life affects possessions


For many people, everything that is connected to possessions and entertainment is a fully-fledged goal in its own right. There are also people who believe that the achievement of life satisfaction is directly related to their possessions and entertainment. We will not argue with that. We just recognize that possessions and entertainment leads some people towards a sense of well-being (though sometimes only in the short term).

In addition, possessions and entertainment influence of other factors. For example, they can influence your attractiveness, communication with friends and family, and sometimes your career. A number of possessions and entertainment can help you exercise, organize and equip your life, or reach short-term positive mood (joy or energy). But for the most part, possessions and entertainment are a goal in itself, which brings a temporary feeling of satisfaction and/or solves some problems.

 

What affects this part of our system? Obviously, if you have financial progress, it will give you more resources needed to purchase possessions and entertainment.

Your relationships and social life can indirectly affect this part of the system. On the other hand, for the same amount of money, if your physical condition is better (due to the right exercise, nutrition, sleep and rest), if your health and sexuality are good, and if you keep a positive attitude, you will have the opportunity to get more pleasure from your activities and possessions.

A very important factor is your hormonal balance, which is based on physical foundation (exercise, food, and sleep and rest) and includes happiness hormones. Also specifically important are your peace of mind, energy, optimism, and especially your mental clarity.

They will help you to break the pernicious cycle of stress shopping.

Often, people have stress associated with things such as failures in their career or relationships. Under the influence of these failures, these people hope to relieve tension by engaging in stress shopping. For many people, this is a natural reaction.

But this action causes additional expenses, which may include credit card debt, personal loans, a burden of commitments, and guilt for buying things, which could have been avoided.

This causes even more stress, and it reduces your confidence and calmness, takes away your energy and positivity, and again leads to even more depressed state. It can lead to overeating and other eating disorders, getting in worse shape, having a poor appearance, poor health and intimacy.

As a result of a sharp decrease in attractiveness, you will have more problems in your career and relationships, and the pernicious cycle is repeated at an even worse level.

The life of such a person can be destroyed if this vicious circle is not stopped.

 

But you can break this vicious circle. If you are purposefully working on elements such as building confidence, energy, optimism, and you recognize this negative feedback loop, then you have a chance to break this cycle. With the hormones released during exercise, you can have natural help in suppressing stress.

The main "fuel" of stress shopping is cortisol, a stress hormone. Therefore, the main task is to start with a radical reduction of cortisol. This is achieved with a solid physical foundation when you engage in exercise, eat healthy food, get enough sleep and rest. These factors reduce cortisol, increase positive hormones, allow you to control yourself and stop stress shopping cycle from spiraling out of control.

This is one example of the powerful influence of the entire Balanced System on a specific problem in your life.

In addition to the stress shopping, people often carelessly spend too much money on stuff and entertainment. In such cases, mental clarity and self-discipline are the tools needed to control your spending and build adequate, clear framework in the field of expenses. It will also help reduce stress, even if the stress shopping in the most destructive form is not an immediate threat.

Finally, calmness and especially mental clarity offers you the opportunity to objectively assess the value of possessions, relate them to other values ​​in your life, and make calm, wise choices. The following describes the specific skills needed to make these decisions.
